Earlier today Maja and OmaJanneke finally did something they wanted to do ever since we arrived here in The Haguewhich was: baking cookies. Maja decided that OmaJanneke’s christmas present was going to be a baking tray with christmas-inspired shapes. OmaJanneke received the gift at Christmas Eve but due to a filled agenda, she never got around to trying them out. Only one or two days after receiving the baking tray, Maja and OmaJanneke were at the supermarket where Maja got to choose the icing and a topping for the cookies. She obviously choose Pink icing and Pink Hearts for topping. So today was the day – Maja and OmaJanneke were baking cookies. Or rather – OmaJanneke assisted Maja in baking cookies. Maja did all the stuff OmaJanneke told her to do: she weighed the ingredients, she mixed, she filled, she flattened, she listened. OmaJanneke helped with not a lot more then words alone.
