So – cast is history. Or rather, it’s no longer attached to Maja. We did take it home with us for sentimental reasons. But today was indeed a big day. Together with the new bed, wall and wardrobe Maja got; everything is new, shiny and happy. It better be: summer vacation is almost over. Only a few more days and Laura will be going back to work, I will be looking for a job and Maja will be going to daycare again. The first few weeks however we need to watch out with Maja: her leg is still more fragile then usual: no trampolines, no wild climbs, no dangerous games. We’ll see how much we can slow her down. So far, she’s been quite careful and slowly adjusting to her new leg. The doctor explained this is only natural: her leg, muscles and joints haven’t been used for 3,5 weeks now. She’s stiff and slowly needs to get used to using them again. We’re anxiously looking at the next few weeks: she will forget about the fracture and be her normal Maja again. That’s what we need to watch out for…
But first we’ll have some visitors. First ones coming tomorrow evening: Erik, Flory, Flore and Feline. Maja has sooo much been looking forward to this! Anyway – time for some pictures of today’s revealings!
Lijkt me geen pretje geweest
Groetjes Mirjam
@Mirjam
Dank je.. Het gaat erg goed. Maja loopt al weer bijna normaal. En als ze een wedstrijdje hardloopt doet het niet meer pijn volgens haar zelf dan..
